TRANSPORTATION AND INFRASTURCTURE

VISION

Together, embracing a robust workforce dedicated to addressing climate change is more than an innovative idea – it's a necessary commitment for all of us. Now is the time for us to enact changes that resonate with our shared experiences and values. We must collectively support research that provides the foundation for evidence-based policy, fostering progress, stability, and certainty. Ethical employment of technology, such as internet-based tools, satellite traffic safety systems, and automatic license plate recognition, can enhance the safety and security of our roads and communities. Speaking from experiences we've all witnessed, these technologies can aid in non-pursuits, traffic violation enforcement, and locating missing persons while maintaining the safety of our police force and its budget. Given our shared vulnerability to natural hazards such as floods, volcanoes, and earthquakes, it's essential for us to adopt a proactive approach to strengthen our infrastructure's resilience. As we face the challenges of climate change, we must prepare, adapt, and grow together. Our shared vision is a national initiative that ensures opportunities for all, emphasizing economic feasibility, inclusivity, and the advancement of joint workforce and employment initiatives. Together, we will build a sustainable and resilient future for all of us.

Prioritize and advance infrastructure initiatives for a self-sustaining Washington, focusing on the future of the electric vehicle sector, parts manufacturing, investor attraction, and improvements in travel, broadband access, and clean water systems.

  • Promote a proposal to enhance traffic management projects and improve traffic flow during heavy morning and evening commute hours.

Make funding available for research that leads to evidence-based policymaking: Reduce pedestrian fatalities and injuries, and automobile accidents and related deaths.

  • Propose a bipartisan bill to construct running/walking routes in rural/countryside locations.

  • Propose a bipartisan bill centered on fabrication technology for producing supplies from recycled materials.

  • Propose a bipartisan bill to build an emission-free wheelchair-accessible underground daily commuting route for walkers, cyclists, electric bikes, and scooters.

  • Support initiatives that revolutionize public transportation, alleviate traffic congestion, and enhance community appeal and safety.

  • Attract investors and activate a well-trained workforce.

  • Propose a bipartisan bill for underground high-speed rail—no more airports.

  • Modernize transportation safety and enhance public transportation quality and accessibility.

  • Bolster infrastructure resilience against potential threats and hazards.

Technology for Traffic Safety: I advocate for modernizing transportation systems through the use of internet-based and satellite traffic safety tools, including automatic license plate recognition systems. An initiative spearheaded by the state that enhances employment opportunities promotes accountability and ensures safety for Washingtonians without resorting to armed intervention.

These tools can identify vehicles with expired insurance, registration, or moving violations and automatically generate fines. Violators are then notified and fined via mail. This approach, which integrates insurance companies with public transportation, not only keeps our law enforcement personnel safe but also streamlines an efficient and effective process for all of us.

Infrastructure resilience: Given Washington State's vulnerability to natural hazards, attention will be given to strengthening infrastructure resilience. The Broadband Access initiative focuses on expanding broadband internet reach to underserved communities. A strategic move to bridge the digital divide and provide beneficial opportunities for everyone to access information and resources, fostering a more inclusive society. Investing in public transit high-speed rail can alleviate traffic congestion, reduce emissions, enhance mobility, create well-paying jobs, and promote industry growth.

We will launch initiatives in Washington to establish it as the leading center for the sales and distribution of a high-quality traffic management system. This effort aligns with our commitment to economic feasibility and inclusive communities. By advancing joint workforce agreements, we aim to enhance employment and economic opportunities, thereby improving the quality of life for future generations and ensuring a more sustainable Washington.
